The Castelli Sorpasso RoS Rosso Corsa Bib Thights are designed for cool fall outings and even on the mildest days of winter. It is made with Nano Flex 3G fabric in most of the body, thus ensuring great warmth, elasticity, comfort and water repellency.

The garment also contains Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric panels on the front and on the thighs, which provides greater thermal protection, and in the center back to protect against water splashes from the wheel. The straps are highly comfortable to offer a great fit. It incorporates the Progetto X2 Air pad.

Progetto X2 Air pad: Capable of offering excellent comfort. This chamois is made with a soft, perforated foam layer to help ventilate and keep high-friction regions cooler, allowing air to flow directly over the surface fabric.

The multi-density cushioning layer of the pad is on the other side of the foam, it is also made of a single block of foam, without any type of cut, and without the need for compression to create the different sections. The cushioning layer also features 3 gel inserts, two at the seating points and a third at the back. A perfect pad for long sessions of cycling of the highest level.

Technologies

- Nano Flex 3G: Features a topical nano-water repellent mechanical microfilament finish combined with a short chain chemical DWR finish for class leading water repellency. The third generation of Nano Flex fabric is based on a new thermal fabric with a tighter weave to improve protection against water.

- Nano Flex Xtra Dry: The double-sided base fabric provides maximum heat, maximum water repellency and low air permeability to prevent the entry of the wind. Not as stretchy as the Nano Flex 3G for a compressive fit. Castelli's Nano Flex treatment comprises a topical water-repellent nano-mechanical microfilament finish combined with a DWR finish.
